Hard to decide between bouillabaisse, duck confit, mussels... so we all took a different dish and everything was delicious! Nice place, between flower garden and Art Gallery! Good atmosphere, we came back to have breakfast! A place to recommend!

Locally owned and operated, Palate at the Gallery is located by the Wilson River, right next to the Lismore Regional Gallery. Looking out to a blossoming rose garden, it is a fully licensed cafe/bistro by day, transforming into a restaurant/bar by night.

Having recently moved to the beautiful Northern Rivers Region, Yves Al-Ghazi introduces culinary elements of his French heritage to the menu, working alongside talented head chef Joel Avey. The menu is designed to offer a taste of France whilst staying true to the abundance of delicious produce available in the region.

Enjoy the relaxed ambiance of this unique setting, nestled in culturally vibrant Lismore. The welcoming space is architecturally-designed to offer both indoor and alfresco dining, catering for all occasions including business functions, after-work drinks and family celebrations. We now also offer tasty takeaway meal options for that quick out of the office lunch.

Palate at the Gallery is child-friendly and happily offers complimentary baby chinos. Drink delicious Allpress coffee with a freshly baked croissant or try one of our freshly-made juices. There are gluten-free meal and dessert options, with all cakes baked in-house.

You are welcome to join one of our social groups like the French Conversation event which happens fortnightly on Wednesday evenings, enjoy French wines & cheeses with like-minded people, speak a bit of French and have a laugh.

We have free WIFI available and can cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner functions including wedding receptions and business presentations.  Please contact one of our friendly staff members to discuss your special event on (02) 66228830.
